About Us
Dr. John Kim is extremely proud to have established Kim Family Chiropractic in Milton, Ontario in 2004. He graduated with honours from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa (the birthplace of Chiropractic). Since graduating from Palmer, he had the privilege of working with some of the most experienced and successful Chiropractors in North America. He practiced in Naperville, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) for two and a half years building a successful family practice but he had always had the dream and goal of returning home to open his own practice. However, while in the United States, he made the most of his time there by constantly attending seminars and continuing education courses, which would allow him to provide advanced care to a wider range of patients from infants to pregnant women to athletes to the elderly.
He was born and raised in Toronto and attended high school at St. Michael’s College School. Later, he attended McMaster University and received a Bachelor of Kinesiology, the scientific study of human movement. McMaster is where he developed his respect and passion for health and wellness, which ultimately helped him cultivate his eventual career and lifestyle choices.
Dr. Kim is a dedicated husband and proud father. He personally maintains his health through regular exercise like swimming, biking, running and other athletics, eats a balanced diet, and maintains his spinal health through regular chiropractic adjustments from his Chiropractor.
He is the Team Chiropractor for the Provincial Junior “A” Milton Icehawks. He is also a volunteer at the annual Subaru Series Milton Triathlon. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the Milton Chamber of Commerce, the Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus, and Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
He is excited to introduce Chiropractic to the community and make this community the healthiest on the planet.
